So, I right-clicks on any file I copied like you said, in the new folder, I chose to open with XnView, then inside the program Iselected all files, batch-renamed all to GTA5-*** and automatically chose to add extension. I would add that I am using XnView to view images, a free tool - I hope this is not considered advertising - that has wonderful renaming and conversion tools inside.
